BehaviorAI Design
Framework

We design the invisible layer of influence - the space between the product and the user's mind.

Most AI product problems are not model failures. They are interaction design failures. The model works. The UX looks clean. But the user misunderstands what AI is doing, trusts it in the wrong way, or stops thinking for themselves.

BehaviorAI Design Framework was built to design that layer intentionally and change the behaviors that actually matter.

Benefits for your project, product and users
Diagnosis, not assumptions

We identify the behavioral barriers blocking change. We don't assume - we diagnose based on data and insights.

Evidence-based interventions

We design interventions grounded in evidence - ones that can reduce or intentionally add friction, depending on what serves the user.

Deliberate change

We factor in law, regulation, and ethics - everything that can affect the product once what we design starts working at scale.

Calibrated trust, not maximum trust

We help design AI products that users trust appropriately - not too much, not too little.

AI Act readiness

The framework accounts for upcoming regulation and helps organizations deploy AI responsibly, before it becomes a requirement.

A tool for the whole team

BehaviorAI Design Framework works across UX, CX, EX, and Product Design - wherever human behavior affects the outcome.

How the framework works
Level 1
Fundamentals: What's actually blocking change?

The goal of this phase is understanding, not designing. We collect data, define one concrete behavior, map the steps and barriers. We don't move forward until we have a diagnosis based on evidence not assumptions.

Level 2
Design: What to change and how?

We design an intervention that comes directly from the diagnosis in Phase I. One moment, one change, one hypothesis. If the intervention has no roots in the barriers identified , we go back.

Level 3
Decision: Should we do this at all?

This question can undo all the previous work. That is intentional. An intervention can be behaviorally effective and ethically questionable. This phase looks at the broader picture: norms, relationships, regulation, and what happens when what we designed scales.

What we do
BehaviorAI Design Workshop
A structured two-day working session built around the BehaviorAI Design Framework.
We work through a real behavioral challenge in your product - diagnosing what blocks change, designing an evidence-based intervention, and pressure-testing it against ethical and regulatory requirements. You leave with a behavioral diagnosis, a prototype, and a framework your team can run independently.
RIFT Framework Review
A focused design review of an existing AI product or feature using the RIFT Framework: Relationship, Interpretation, Friction, Trust.
We identify where the invisible layer is failing: where users misunderstand what AI is doing, trust it in the wrong way, or delegate decisions they should be making themselves. Output: a prioritized list of behavioral risks and recommended design interventions.
Strategy & Advisory
For organizations integrating AI across products, services, or internal processes.
We help connect behavioral design, AI ethics, and regulatory requirements into a coherent approach, before the problems appear at scale. We work with legal advisors to help you understand what AI Act compliance means in practice, not just in policy.
BehaviorAI for designers and product teams who know what behavioral problem they're solving but don't know what the solution should look like.
A curated library of AI interaction patterns - drawn from real products like Figma, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, and Gemini. Every pattern includes how it works, what risks it carries, and when not to use it. Updated continuously as the field moves.
Who this is for
BehaviorAI Design Framework is designed for people building AI products, interaction and experience human-AI
Product designers
and UX designers
who want to understand what their design decisions actually do to users - not just whether the interface is clear.
Product Managers and AI Product Owners
Who are responsible for outcomes, not just features and need to understand what happens to user behavior after launch, not just at launch.
Enterprise teams adopting AI at scale
Including conversation designers, UX writers, user researchers, trust and safety teams, and engineering leads shaping AI interaction patterns across a product organization.
Founders building AI-native products
who need to get the behavioral layer right from the start, before patterns are established and hard to change
